It’s That Time Of Year

Augh…..allergy season. I got a huge hit from yesterday’s walk to the school, then the soccer game with the Wordie’s Kiddies. I was supposed to work on my homework (which has been piling once again), but this time I looked at it for 20 minutes (10:15 - 10:37) and realized that all I was looking at was ink on a page, then went to bed. The next day at school wasn’t fun at all. My head was so congested that every 20 seconds I’d sniff to try to keep the watery mucus from pouring out my nose. By 3rd period my nose was sore and I had a major headache. I couldn’t follow along in any class, and I actually passed out from exhaustion during a german quiz. I felt so disgusting that I’d attempt to avoid contact with people, but I’d fail and feel embarassed that I was very gross.

The good news is though that now I have a weekend to catch up, and I intend on doing that very thing. I’ll go to CT, but that’s it. The only thing that pisses me off about weekends is that whenever I plan on doing my homework on Sunday, my mom throws out some excuse for us to leave and not return until the dead of night. Usually it’s to go see her grand-babies, but she always finds something to take me away from my homework.

I still pray to the Lord for either thanking him for my blessings or for subjects that need his attention. It’s so amazing to see the results of prayer that before meeting Christ would never have had happened. The only problem is that I haven’t looked into His Word since I read Phillipians and Thessalonians. I do plan on going into the Word with Kyle and whoever else during Prom Night, which I’m actually excited for. I haven’t hung out with Kyle for a while, and his strongest suit (Aida fans rejoice) is his teaching abilities, so there will be some guarenteed awesome times there.
